WOMEN’S ENCOUNTER WEEKEND!

Friday, March 3rd - Sunday, March 5th

 

Ladies! Do you need time away with your sisters in Christ, so that you can soak in the presence of God? From March 3-5, at Camp Freedom in Homestead, you can do just that at the Daughters United Women's Encounter Weekend, TITANIUM! Not only will you have an incredible time, but you will also Come into the Strength you were Destined For! The cost is $175, and it includes food and lodging.

Check-in time: 6:00-7:00 pm (Friday)

Due to time constraints, we will not be providing an evening meal Friday,

March 3rd. All participants should eat prior to arrival.

Check-out time: Noon (Sunday)

Cost: $175

(Includes meals and lodging)

Deadline to pay: Sunday, February 19th!

Directions to Camp Freedom

 

Camp Freedom is located approximately five (5) miles north of Homestead, FL and 2½ miles west of US1. To reach the Camp from Miami, drive south on the Turnpike, take exit 12 and turn right onto Caribbean Blvd. Go 2 lights and turn left onto US1. Drive south on US1 and turn right on 248th street (Coconut Palm Drive). Then proceed west 2 miles to 167th Ave. (Tennessee Road) and turn left. Continue to the entrance of Camp Freedom, which is the first entrance on the left.

 

Expectations

 

  • All participants will be expected to help clean up daily.

  • All Participants will be assigned to 1 meal team to assist in that meal’s set-up, preparation, serving, and clean up.

  • Camp Freedom is designated as a non-smoking environment. In addition, drugs, alcohol, firearms and weapons are not allowed in the Camp.

  • Parking is only allowed at the Lake. Please park head-in, at the parking blocks.
